I’ve played visuals on three other Hawaiian Islands as well, Oahu (Centered Wednesdays), Kauai (Mu Tribe Campout), and the Big Island (Petting Zoo).  I’ve played visuals at several music festivals including; Emissions, Lightning in a Bottle, Serenity Gathering, Heart & Soulstice, Raindance, Enchanted Forest, Boogaloo Music & Art Car Festival, & Sonic Bloom.  I own a professional VJ PC that’s tour ready.  I’m based out of Maui, but I’m willing to travel anywhere to work.

About My Art

Like I said above, I’m a Video Artist (VJ), and I specialize in pixel art (8-bit), retro, nostalgia, vaporwave, and sound reactive visuals.  I have some experience in 3D as well, and I mix it in with other 2D art.  I love the blending of the old and the new.

Some of my pixel art I make from scratch either drawn from the ground up or pixelating a photo and altereing it in photoshop.  For my visuals that I use for my VJ act I use a mix of my content, sprites (animated pixel art) from old video games, samples from old video games, and GIFs that other artists make that I find on the internet.  I consider myself a modern day collagist, making video collages out of lots of other people’s art, altering it, and combining it with my own style.  I make these video collages in a sound reactive visuals program called Magic Music Visuals.

Many of my visuals are funny.  At clubs and concerts people are having a fun, happy time, and they’re prone to laugh at and enjoy jokes in the video.  I also work a lot of nostalgia into my act because its like me giving a warm hug to the crowd.  Fans of my visuals tell me that seeing things from their childhood brings up good memories and makes them feel warm and good inside, and that’s exactly what I’m going for…

Please see the Showreels & Commissions section of my website to see better what I’m talking about, or you can also check out my Instagram for updates on my latest work.
